Intermediate RS-485 fiber optic converter
The devices APP D485PM / D485PS series enable fully transparent, two-way transmission of asynchronous data stream, in accordance with V.11 RS-485, 2-wire electrical interface, up to 115 kbps bit rate via fiber optic. The converter cooperates with others analog, fiber optic parts of Brabancja 2000 system.
The devices come in multi-mode versions enable transmission in 850 and 1300 nm windows as well as in single-mode version enables transmission in 1310 nm window via 4 fiber optics.
APP D485PM possesses 2 TX and 2 RX fiber optics and 1 electrical port. Connection with APP D485M makes it possible to create branched RS-485 data bus structure.
APP D485PM is equipped with 3-position dip switch enables to match the device with RS-485 data bus and to carry out link test of the proper optic connection.
The devices are offered as a stand-alone with the possibility to install on the DIN TS-35 rail.
